meet madison grace....

back to the baby postings...

madison grace made her entrance on february 11th, 2009. i had the opportunity to photograph her less than one week later, but she was as awake and alert as a four week old! while she didn't enjoy getting photographed too much on her own, she loved being held by mom. i did manage to catch her tiny hint of a smile in the first shot!

sneak peek: becky & justin

this afternoon was perfect for an engagement shoot...it felt like spring....which means preparing for the crazy wedding/senior season to begin!

what a beautiful valentines day we had this year! jay and i enjoyed celebrating our "love day" by shooting the wedding of aviva & dustin at the reading country club. it was a gorgeous day outside...even ending with a snow shower (see my favorite shot of the day in the sneak peek).

from the wonderful weather, to the sweet portrait spots, breathtaking dress & bride, amazing cake and flowers (can you tell i love details?!), it was definitely one of my favorite weddings.

introducing...keene michael

here are keene michael's newborn pictures...as promised. isn't he just adorable? 

this first shot is one of my favorite pictures i've taken...there's just something about his expression; such an innocent little guy. his mom, mary, works as a nurse at the blood bank, so that explains the second shot. her co-workers gave him the cute outfit. and the ones of him and his mommy & daddy...nothing compares to that beauty! it was hard to pick which ones to post!

introducing....lily sophia

i feel like lately, all i've been photographing & editing are babies...but i'm definitely not complaining! i have a few more baby shoots i am working on right now, so keep checking back...

i posted a peek of lily back in january when she was born, but here are some more finally! my previous blog post was of (not so little) lily in her mommy's belly! 

one of the things i love most about this baby is her name. lily means purity, and sophia means wisdom. i think that's why i love this first shot so much...i see the purity and wisdom already in her...even as a newborn!

deb's belly shoot

i just love belly sessions...especially when i'm photographing friends whose babies i look forward to loving and babysitting! deb is a good friend of mine from church. she has been a great listener and encourager in my transitions back to "normal" life here in lancaster, after doing mission work in other countries and struggling to find my purpose here.  so it was an honor to use my gift of photography to take some beautiful belly pictures of her, as well as newborn portraits of little lily (coming soon!)

ralph, deb, lukas, and lily have a heart for germany (ralph is from there) and look forward to moving there sometime in the near future. while we'll miss them greatly, we know God's got even greater plans for them there...

enjoy some shots from deb's shoot. i just love the ones on the balcony outside their home. and it almost looks like spring (it was late december!) 

lukas didn't want anything to do with this shoot, but we managed to get him in one shot!
